For me, 2025 was a year of living life to its fullest, including two two-month opportunities of a lifetime spending time in Boston and San Diego and traveling to places like Zurich, Amsterdam, and India. I attended three weddings of close friends from college all over the country and the world, saw my mom as much as possible, and had the fortune to meet lots of great people, and try incredible food all along the way.
I want to conclude an unbelievable year with a tribute to some of my favorite parts of the last 11 months, including some highlights for others such as trying a multi-nut brittle at my brother’s request and two different types of toffee that my sister-in-law got me into. Most of the food highlights from past year are not easily mailable, but some of the recipes are on this website and can be in your home as well! I have tagged travel highlight recipes at the bottom of this post.
